The month of July & August is for the storm of Pakistani movies, today I am going to write about “Karachi Se Lahore” which was released on 31st of July nationwide, and movie is directed and produced by Wajahat Rauf and written by Yasir Hussain.

The promotion was good over the Electronic media, they got the prime time for promotion of Karachi Se Lahore which is surely very best time to advertise or promote their work, but many of the viewer were confused about seeing the Cornetto advertisement in teaser of Karachi Se Lahore.
The first 10 to 15 minutes are based on full advertisement of HBL and one finds it bit annoying but there are also some epic and hilarious scenes which make the advertisement of HBL pretty good.
Ayesha Omar (as Marium) and Shehzad Sheikh (as Zaheem) are neighbors and they always fight on small things which is a funny reality in our culture =D
Javed Sheikh(as Tiwana) is father of Marium, whose wife died years ago and was in a relationship with a bar Dancer Mantahaa Maqsood (as Khushi), Marium’s brother role was played by Aashir Wajahat (as Zezu)
Zaheem is a banker who’s working in HBL, and frustrated with his life because her girlfriend Eshita Syed (as Aisha) always tread him like a loser and insult him a a lot but still he wants to marry her. She suddenly gave him a news one day that she is going to Lahore for 1 week to visit her relative and later decided to get married with her Canadian cousin. For Zaheem this news was very bad and he decided to go to Lahore to make her wedding plan unsuccessful, for this he borrow Maryam dad’s jeep and how they borrow the jeep for this you need to watch KSL.
Yasir Hussain (as Moti) and Ahmed Ali (as Sam) are the 2 guys who brings the color to the whole movie with laughter. You will come across to some double meaning jokes by Moti and Sam. At last I would say the movie success is because of Moti and Sam. Whenever there scene comes to the screen you will laugh because the dialogue delivery of Moti is very epic and fabulous.
How can I forget Wajahat Rauf acting, Yes Wajahat Rauf is the director and he played a role in movie for 5 minutes but in this 5 minutes you will laugh loudly.
The ending of the movie was not as good as we had expected, because in the end you will see a guy will propose a girl with giving a Cornetto which does not make any sense as per my view.
Karachi Se Lahore is a must watch movie if you want to laugh and enjoy your weekend with your friends do watch kSL and Support Pakistani Cinema, I will rate it 4.5 out of 5.
