Decades old Pakistani clothing brand Generation has been receiving some positive feedback for its laidback turn of the century inspired collections this year leading to a complete transformation of their prêt wear.
The affordable brand was nominated among stalwarts of the industry and the well-deserved win may have come as shock to the company as no one was present to receive the honor. While a confused host accepted the award, I rooted for this cutting edge brand that is bringing fashion to the varying socio-economic groups.

Another personal favorite who won the emerging talent in fashion category is fashion photographer Alee Hassan who has earned a reputation as a creative and thoughtful work.
Abdullah Harris walked away with his well-deserved photography award, while older names were nominated. His commercial work for Farah Talib Aziz and Ali Xeeshan multiple lawn brands pushed him into the spotlight earlier this year where he is likely to remain. Styling guru bagged her 10th Lux Style Award and announced that from this point on wards she won’t be competing.
Other fashion winners include: Faraz Manan who took home awards for achievement in Fashion Design for bridal wear and Lawn. Shamaeel Ansari won for Luxury Pret and Amir Adnan for Menswear.
