Since ages, Pakistan is a major magnetism for foreign investors. But from the past few months, investors were discovering opportunities for business in various fields including the energy sector and IT sector. However, the entertainment sector is also on their list now.
Recently, a Chinese delegation came forward while showing a keen interest in investing Pakistan entertainment industry. To further work on this, a meeting was held between the Federal Minister of Information Fawad Chaudhry with the Tencent. It’s a leading Chinese music company in the world.
Fawad appreciated the step taken by China to feature Pakistani films in Chinese cinemas. The delegation mentioned to collaborate and enhance the Pakistani music and film industry.
Also, here’s good news!
Pakistan will also participate in the 9th International Beijing Film Festival.

During the meeting, the delegation was told about the efforts being made by the current government of Pakistan. In order to promote tourism, sports, and investment in the country, they’re doing everything.
Fawad Chaudhry also said that Pakistan was once the third largest film producing countries in the world. He also spoke that the government plans to boost the cinema screens in Pakistan.
Moreover, The Federal Minister also invited the Chinese film-makers to come to Pakistan. And capture the scenic beauty of its northern areas in their films.
The blockbuster movie of 2018 which was “Teefa in Trouble” got screened in China. In the prestigious Silk Road International Film Festival.
While the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Film festival also screened a number of Pakistani movies. The list includes Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Chalay Thay Saath and Parchi.
Pak-China Friendship:
Fascinatingly, a Chinese-Canadian story, Chalay Thay Saath, is also made. It focuses on the Pak-China friendship in the most endearing way.
