Great applause to writer Khalil ur Rehman for penning down this beautiful storyline for drama serial ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’. Brought to screens with Nadeem Baig’s direction along with sparkling performances by Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddiqui have kept the audience hooked with each episode.
The recent episode was somehow very emotional for the viewers and Humayun did it very well. From dialogues to acting and facial expressions, we were hooked up.
Fans have been praising Humayun for his mind-blowing acting:
Humayon is not only a fantastic actor but he has a heart of gold. Always gracious in praising the competitors. Loving his portrayal of a loyal husband in #MerePaasTumHo. He struck all the right chords expressing confusion, naivety, betrayal & forgiveness all in a single scene.

Initially it looked like #HumayunSaeed was miscast for such an innocent. But man, he totally nailed it. Could feel his pain, his anger, his disbelief, his disappointment. Never knew he was such a good actor. @iamhumayunsaeed #MerePaasTumHo

According to Humayun Saeed, he chose the character of Danish because he wanted to move out of his comfort zone. He said that he had an idea that people would like ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’ because he felt the same anxiety that people experienced after watching the play.
The originality of the script makes the viewers feel they are a part of the story of Danish and Mehwish and are seeing them in real life. The conflict and layers of characters are the strength of Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s writing.
Also, in accordance with Humayun, people are used to watching the melancholy of a woman and therefore ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’ is infuriating for the people who want a misogynist man.
