Imagine Nation Pictures is back with another web series after the well-received “BFFs” in 2019. While BFFs was a quirky 4th-wall breaking comedy without an actual plot, Clickbait is entirely different. With web-series being catered to the digital market, Clickbait is specifically molded to target today’s YouTube-hungry youth.
In the teaser released yesterday, we see a troubled YouTuber Asad, (played by Sami Rehman) having a mild panic attack. The clip ends as abruptly as it started and without revealing anything more, is short and interesting enough to grab anyone’s attention. It does exactly what a teaser is supposed to do; get you to look forward to the web-series’ release.
Imagine Nation pictures (IN) is a relatively new venture by 4 upcoming filmmakers namely Sami Rehman (of Bekaar Films fame), Rida Zahra, Ghania Asad, and Sidrah Jamil. IN was formed in the hopes of further exploring the web series market in Pakistan and later dabbling into films and other media. Their goal is to present a range of different genres and exciting content that would inspire Pakistani youth.
