Asad Siddiqui, who’s still appearing in the drama serial ‘Aye Musht-e-Khaak,’ has recently addressed Feroze Khan’s role, who is being presented insensitively in the drama.

Asad Siddiqui recently appeared in a BBC Urdu interview. He defended Feroze Khan’s Mustejab character in Aye Musht e Khaak, claiming that he has seen such people in real life and knows at least one person who looks exactly like Bobby.

According to Asad:

A youngster raised in the west who knew nothing would be the same as Bobby from Aye Musht e Khaak.

Moreover, he said:

“I can give the character the benefit of doubt.”

Netizens have labelled Feroze Khan’s character Mustejab as toxic, and many issues have already been raised regarding the role.

Two sequences from the play have already gone viral for a number of weird reasons, and now another scene has sparked popular interest for being excessively over-the-top.

Mustejab can be seen sitting with his mother in the current video, ranting at her about his marital problems. The yelling has become considerably louder and more unpleasant. It’s difficult to understand what he’s saying.

Directed by Ahsun Talish and written by Maha Malik, the cast includes Feroze Khan, Sana Javed, Iffat Omar, Nimra Khan, and Asad Siddiqui in main role.
