The major celebration of Urdu literature, the 15th annual Aalmi Urdu Conference, was formally unveiled on Thursday, December 1st by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
On this particular occasion, Syed Sardar Ali Shah, the Sindh Minister for Culture & Education, was specially present, along with Zahra Naigh, Asad Mohammad Khan, Anwar Maqsood, Iftikhar Arif, Kishwar Naheed, Amjad Islam Amjad, Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, Commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Razi Ahmed, Ashfaq Hussain, Rauf Pare.
The inaugural Aalmi Urdu Conference took place in 2008; since then, it has continued and is advancing continuously.
Renowned writer Anwar Masood while talking about CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah:
Murad Ali Shah Sahab NED se parhe hue wahid engineer hen jo abi Pakistan mai hain. Baki sab America mai hain ya Canada mai hain.
Moreover, he added:
Shah Sahab ki bohat tareef likhi hui hai ek kitaab mai ke vo aik betahasha mehnati student, takreer bohat achi, ache debator, mehant karne wale ache numbers se pass hue. Un tamam baton ke bawajood itne salon se Chief Minister hen.
While concluding, he added:
Inko bohat agy jana chahye.
