After giving back to back hit performances in drama serials on television screen like Do Bol and Bhool, Ghalti star Affan Waheed is now all set to make his debut film on the silver screen.
Apparently, the actor is busy these days shooting for the film titled “Mastani”.
Affan confirmed the news to a local source. Moreover, he also informed that it’s a rom-com with a suspense component brilliantly implanted in the plot.
Affan said:
“It’s an exciting, enthralling and awe-inspiring love journey of a kind-hearted and ordinary man Shakil and his complete opposite love interest, Aaliyah.”
He added:
“One of the reasons I chose this script was that my character didn’t require slapstick humour to make its presence felt.”
Produced by Daniya Nizami and directed by Usman Rizvi, Mastani is all set to release on Eid ul Fitr 2020.
