This is a transitional capsule collection in continuation of our last body of work for Woolmark. ‘Nocturnal’ builds upon the design story that began with ‘Tiloor’ last year.
The main emphasis of our storyline this season is the fabric. A blend of 50% silk with 50% merino wool in a palette of charcoal greys and burnt browns. Form flattering silhouettes are key with an extra special attention given to fine details and tailoring. The kite motif that is to be found in all the prints is a nod to the design house’s mood for the coming season and it’s collections where it is at the heart of our inspiration.
‘Nocturnal’ offers a wide range of evening wear creating svelte forms. The faint sheen of the silk and wool blend instantly creates a dramatic and atmospheric feeling while still giving a rich feel of subdued glamour. Dinner jackets, vests, coats, pants and custom made shoes come together to create looks that are at once unique and tastefully individual. Even as separates these pieces are a great addition to any fashion connoisseur’s wardrobe.
