We live in a time where people are often consumed with steering their own lives and tend to forget those around them. In stark contrast, our rising star Aymen Saleem believes one can only live a life of meaning if one contributes to the well being and betterment of others.
With her strong-willed spirit, confidence, and desire to forge new paths, Saleem has accomplished many great things in life; participating in and helping Pakistan achieve a Guinness World Record in 2010, attending the Wharton School of Business where she completed her undergraduate and, soon after, working at JP Morgan as an investment banker.
Saleem later worked as a consultant at McKinsey and Company in Dubai, ranked as the world’s best consulting firm, on primarily public sector projects. Saleem’s civic-mindedness and desire to help others in as many ways possible resulted in her devoting most of her time to various forms of community service.
Saleem has been involved in the ‘Make A Wish Foundation’ for terminally ill patients since it’s inception in Pakistan and is the first Pakistani to be awarded the Lady Diana Award for her extensive efforts to serve the community. She is the Youth Ambassador for Pakistan Youth Parliament and the first Goodwill Ambassador of Pakistan, working towards women empowerment and education.
While she yearned to be closer to home and try something different, Saleem found herself returning to Pakistan and joining the showbiz industry – a platform she believes will help her reach and impact millions of people.
Good news! – Saleem will be making her acting debut in Hum TV’s upcoming Ramadan serial, Chupke Chupke; a Danish Nawaz directorial. Playing the lead role of Rameesha Ibrahim alongside co-stars Sohai Ali Abro, Arsalan Naseer and Osman Khalid Butt in this rom-com, her character exudes the free-spirited soul every girl has within! Rameesha is unfazed by stereotypes and is seen confessing her love reluctantly but fearlessly. Her genuine self, furthermore, not only loves deeply but also speaks her heart. If this description resonates with you, we can assure you that you’ll absolutely love the show once it airs!
