Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor disclosed that he was offered a lead role opposite the Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Taimoor who has created waves in Lollywood with his acting skills was also going to break into Bollywood but due to his misfortune, it didn’t happen.
The Jalaibee actor divulged the details on a show where he appeared with his wife, Ayeza Khan who’s also a Pakistani actress. He shared that he was approached for a role flanking veteran Kareena Kapoor in Bollywood film Veere Di Wedding which was released in 2018.
He nevertheless couldn’t do it even though the dates were finalized as tensions between the Pakistan and India shoot up in 2016.
Danish said:
“We were all ready to go for the shoot but then we got to know that Kareena was pregnant. After Kareena delivered her baby in 2016, the situation between India and Pakistan got worse.”
Taimoor won the ARY Film Award for Best Star Debut Male for Jalaibee in 2015. Currently, we can see him in drama serial Mera Rab Waris.
