Finally, It’s the proud moment for Pakistan that Laraib Atta got nominated in Visuals Effects Society 2019. She’s the daughter of the legendary Sufi singer Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi. Further, Laraib, the young talented girl was nominated for the category of ‘Outstanding Compositing in a Photoreal Episode‘for TV Show “Altered Carbon”, in which she is working as one of the visual effects artists.
The Visual Effects Society (VES) is a worldwide professional voluntary society. It’s the entertainment industry’s only organization representing the full extent of visual effects practitioners. The list includes artists, technologists, model makers, educators, studio executives, supervisors, PR/marketing specialists, and producers.
More than 35 countries around the globe put into all areas of entertainment – film, television, commercials, animation, music videos, games, and new media.
In meantime, Laraib Atta shared this good news on Instagram and it seemed that she was dazzled by her achievement.

However, the 17th Visual Effects Society Awards was held on 5th February 2019. Conversely, “Lost in Space” won the award in this category but it’s still a huge achievement for Laraib Atta that her name was nominated and we are proud of her. She was nominated alongside some of the famous visual effects artists from around the world.
