Sabeeka Imam, a well-known model, is the most recent celebrity to get death and rape threats online. The winner model took to the internet to publish images of a post in which an Instagram user attempted to frighten Sabeeka with terrifying threats.
The model posted the screenshot to her Instagram account and added that she had reported the threats to the competent authorities. Sabeeka mentioned the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Cybercrime, and the British Council Pakistan in her screenshot.
The social media user stated he would throw acid on her and that she should be banished from society like the late influencer Qandeel Baloch in a disturbing statement.
This isn’t the first time a celebrity has been subjected to horrific online threats.
Mashal Khan had previously received a violent online threat from a troll, which she promptly reported to the National Response Centre for Cyber Crime.
