The Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) began its 20th successive fashion show in Lahore last evening. Season after season, PFDC creates shows that highlight the best of Pakistani fashion and this year was no less. With a wide array of talented and creative designers, the first day’s collection showcases ended on a high note leaving fashion enthusiasts wanting more.
Sania’s new spring summer evening wear line, “Isfahan” had everyone wondering. It was a dip to the seductive shine of the Orient. The collection instilled the grace and aura of the ancient East with a contemporary liveliness and artistic, embellishing velvet and cotton with equal esprit.
The elastic pastels and audacious jewel shades into outstanding neoclassical silhouettes had every bit gleaming into the limelight with iridescence. The collection was evaded by the lavish fabrics and colors that ruled the ramp were red, orange and pink. Each collection, beautifully embroidered with gold and kamdani work personified the signature Sania Maskatiya touch.
Here’s what we loved from the collection!
