The glamorous red carpet at Pakistan’s top fashion platform, Fashion Pakistan Week, was abuzz with excitement each day as new looks were revealed in the most happening spot, TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe, Media Lounge.
Britain’s most celebrated high fashion hair-styling brand, hosted a trendy Media Lounge that was constantly buzzing and serving hors d’oeuvres, and was the place to be seen for leading designers, celebrities, fashionistas, and socialites such as Maheen Karim, Shehla Chatoor, Warda Saleem, HSY, Sanam Choudhri, Huma and Amir Adnan and Deepak Perwani.
“It was exciting to collaborate again with FPC at FPW, a perfect platform for TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe, to cascade its A/W14 looks. We maintained curiosity by revealing 3 surprise celebrities that I can proudly say embodied the Hair Meet Wardrobe philosophy. On each day of the show, TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe showcased a unique new look for Autumn / Winter 2014. Frieha Altaf hosted the unveiling of the 3 looks – Classic by Adnan Malik, Casual by Zoe Viccaji and Glamorous by Sarwat Gilani. Each look was styled by Saeeda Mandviwalla and her team at Toni&Guy Karachi using limited edition designer bottles by British designer Marchesa. All this took place at the exquisite British inspired Media Lounge designed by Amina & Anisa of RAKA.
Saeeda commented, “To get a do-it-yourself kind of look that you can take from Catwalk to client every day to strut your stuff on the streets – That’s my inspiration for Hair Meet Wardrobe to define your personal style statement.
Day 1: On Day 1 at the TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Media Lounge at FPW AW’14, Adnan Malik sported a Classic Nordic Sleek look styled by Saeeda Mandviwalla of TONI&GUY. Adnan’s Hair Meet Wardrobe look was created by luxe Menswear Designer Ahmed Bham. The essence of the Classic look is simple purity. Ice whites and silver greys dominate the wardrobe palate and Classic Shine Gloss Serum results in sleek, smooth hair to create a polished look.
Day 2: At Day 2 at FPW AW’14, Zoe Viccaji was spotted in the TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Media Lounge where she unveiled a limited edition designer bottle of Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray. Zoe’s hair trend was defined by the Casual look with texturized braids, which was styled to perfection by Saeeda Mandviwalla. This season’s look of natural, healthy elegance is as effortless as it is cool. Rough textures are combined with braids toed around the crown to complete the relaxed, undone look of the wardrobe.
Day 3: The last day of FPW AW’14, the TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Media Lounge showcased the glamorous actress Sarwat Gilani. Here she unveiled a limited edition designer bottle of Glamour Volume Plumping Whip that was responsible for her spectacular hair, styled by Saeeda Mandviwalla. This season, decadence dominates; the wardrobe palette is saturated with vibrant reds, dazzling golds and emerald greens, paired with voluminous seductive hair.
